Abstract
Women's health is undergoing a significant transformation as modern healthcare shifts from disease-centred treatment to comprehensive, preventive, and personalized care. Rapid urbanization, changing lifestyles, delayed childbearing, increasing prevalence of chronic diseases, hormonal disorders, and growing mental health concerns have created the need for a more integrated approach that addresses women's health across every stage of life. The FemNova concept is introduced as a holistic framework that combines scientific innovation with person-centred care to improve health outcomes and empower women to take an active role in managing their well-being. This chapter presents the evolution of women's healthcare from traditional practices to the digital era and explains how the FemNova model integrates the principles of prevention, prediction, personalization, precision, and participation into routine healthcare. It highlights the importance of reproductive, physical, mental, social, and digital health while emphasizing evidence-based lifestyle interventions, early disease detection, precision medicine, and patient empowerment. The chapter also discusses the growing influence of artificial intelligence, genomics, wearable technologies, telemedicine, and FemTech innovations in supporting continuous health monitoring and individualized clinical decision-making. By bringing together technological advances and holistic healthcare principles, the FemNova framework offers a forward-looking vision for women's healthcare that is inclusive, accessible, and sustainable.
