Pharmacological Activities of Moringa oleifera

Abstract

This chapter provides a comprehensive review of the pharmacological activities of Moringa oleifera. Evidence for its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antidiabetic and antimicrobial actions is examined, alongside emerging nano-pharmacological approaches that seek to enhance the bioavailability and efficacy of Moringa-derived actives. Mechanistic insights and representative preclinical findings are summarised to support future therapeutic development.
