A Practical Book of Human Anatomy, Physiology and Pathophysiology II
About This Book
Each experiment follows one fixed layout: aim, learning outcomes, requirements, principle, procedure, observations, result, precautions, and viva-voce questions. The principle is kept point-wise and concise so that the reasoning behind each procedure is clear before the student begins.
Two kinds of table appear throughout. A table with values already entered is a reference table, to be studied and used for comparison. A table with blank cells is an observation table, to be filled by the student with readings taken during the class and countersigned by the teacher. This division mirrors the working record a practising professional keeps.
The book covers all fifteen practicals listed in the syllabus, of which a minimum of twelve are to be performed. Values, ranges, and clinical criteria are drawn from the prescribed references in their latest editions and from current standard guidelines. Students are advised to read the relevant theory chapter before each session and to record observations honestly, since a well-kept record is itself a skill the profession demands.
